Rollins College educates students for global citizenship and responsible leadership. Through its Hamilton Holt School, Rollins offers evening degree programs for working adults and other students who are unable to attend classes during the day. Many of these students have delayed their college education due to family or financial considerations. Eighty-seven percent of these students receive some form of financial aid. Since 1997, Starry, Starry Night, the Holt School’s annual scholarship benefit, has raised more than $2.1 million for students who demonstrate financial need and high academic achievement. This popular event features a cocktail party and silent auction, gourmet dinner, a live auction, live entertainment, and dancing. Most guests are recognized business and community leaders in the Central Florida area.
